RFM Constitution

1. Preamble

Rooted Faith Ministry (RFM) is a Christian ministry called into existence by God to help people become deeply rooted in Christ, established in the faith, equipped through God's Word, strengthened through prayer, and sent into the world as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

This Constitution sets forth the governance structure, beliefs, and operational framework of Rooted Faith Ministry. It is founded on the authority of the Holy Scriptures and the lordship of Jesus Christ.

2. Name and Identity

The name of this ministry shall be Rooted Faith Ministry, abbreviated as RFM.

RFM is a Christian ministry devoted to prayer, the teaching of God's Word, discipleship, evangelism, and Christian fellowship. Its motto is: "Rooted in Christ. Established in the Faith. Sent to the World."

3. Vision, Mission and Objectives

Vision: To see lives transformed by Christ, believers established in God's Word, and disciples raised and sent to impact their communities and the world.

Mission: To help people become deeply rooted in Christ, established in the faith, equipped through God's Word, strengthened through prayer, and sent into the world as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

Objectives:

• To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• To teach and establish believers in God's Word
• To promote a life of prayer and intercession
• To make disciples who make disciples
• To serve communities through evangelism and outreach

4. Statement of Purpose

The purpose of RFM is to glorify God by helping people know Christ personally, grow in faith, become established in Scripture, discover their God-given purpose, and live as faithful witnesses of Jesus Christ.

5. Biblical Foundation

RFM is built on the foundation of the Holy Bible, which is the inspired, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God. All ministry activities, teachings, and decisions are subject to the authority of Scripture.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." — 2 Timothy 3:16

6. Statement of Faith

RFM holds to the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith, including belief in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; the deity, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; salvation by grace through faith; the authority of Scripture; and the return of Christ. 7. Membership

Membership in RFM is open to all who profess faith in Jesus Christ, have been born again, and desire to grow as His disciples. Members are expected to participate in ministry activities, live in accordance with biblical teaching, and support the ministry through prayer and service.

8. Rights and Responsibilities of Members

Rights:

• To receive pastoral care, prayer support, and biblical teaching
• To participate in ministry activities and programs
• To access ministry resources and training
• To raise concerns and seek guidance from leadership

Responsibilities:

• To live a Christ-honoring life
• To pray for the ministry and its leadership
• To support the ministry through service and giving
• To maintain unity and love within the body
• To respect the confidentiality of shared prayer requests and personal information

9. Founder & Ministry Leader

The Founder and Ministry Leader of Rooted Faith Ministry is Ken Sirika, who serves as the primary spiritual leader and oversees the direction, teaching, and ministry of RFM.

10. Leadership Structure

RFM's leadership structure includes the Founder & Ministry Leader, ministry leaders and coordinators, and volunteers who serve in various ministry departments. All leaders serve under the authority of Christ and Scripture, and are accountable to one another.

11. Appointment and Removal of Leaders

Leaders are appointed based on biblical qualifications, character, and calling. Leaders may be removed for misconduct, false teaching, or failure to fulfill their responsibilities, following a process of investigation, correction, and, where necessary, restoration.

12. Leadership Responsibilities

Leaders are responsible for teaching and upholding sound doctrine, shepherding and caring for members, leading by example in Christian character, overseeing ministry activities and operations, and maintaining the spiritual health and unity of the ministry.

13. Ministry Departments

RFM may establish departments for prayer, teaching, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, media, and other areas as needed to fulfill its mission.

14. Meetings and Decision-Making

The ministry shall hold regular meetings for worship, prayer, teaching, and fellowship. Major decisions are made prayerfully, seeking God's guidance through Scripture, prayer, and counsel.

15. Discipline and Restoration

Members who fall into sin or doctrinal error shall be approached with love, truth, and a desire for restoration, following the principles of Matthew 18:15-17. The goal is always repentance, restoration, and spiritual healing.

16. Safeguarding and Child Protection

RFM is committed to protecting children and vulnerable persons. The ministry maintains a Child Protection Policy and requires all leaders and volunteers to adhere to safeguarding standards. (See the RFM Child Protection Policy.)

17. Financial Governance

All finances are managed with transparency, integrity, and accountability. Giving is voluntary. Funds are used for ministry purposes. (See the RFM Financial Policy.)

18. Property and Assets

Any property or assets acquired by RFM are held for ministry purposes and managed by the leadership in accordance with this Constitution and applicable law.

19. Records and Confidentiality

The ministry maintains appropriate records and protects the confidentiality of personal, pastoral, and prayer information shared by members.

20. Digital Ministry and Online Community

RFM conducts digital ministry through its website, ministry hub, academy, and online communities. All digital participation is governed by the RFM Digital Community Guidelines.

21. Conflict Resolution

Conflicts within the ministry shall be resolved through prayer, biblical principles, and a spirit of humility and reconciliation, following the guidance of Matthew 18 and 1 Corinthians 6.

22. Amendments

This Constitution may be amended by the leadership through prayerful consideration and consensus. Amendments must be consistent with Scripture and the mission of RFM.

23. Dissolution

In the event of dissolution, any remaining assets shall be used for Christian ministry purposes consistent with the mission of RFM, and not for personal benefit.

24. Approval and Adoption

This Constitution is adopted as the governing document of Rooted Faith Ministry, effective from the date set by the leadership.
