RFM Discipleship Manual

The official framework for helping people grow from new believers into mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

The RFM Discipleship Pathway

RFM follows a five-stage discipleship pathway: DISCOVER → ROOT → GROW → SERVE → SEND

Stage 1 — DISCOVER

Knowing Jesus

The journey begins with knowing Jesus Christ personally — who He is, what He has done, and the salvation He offers.

Salvation

Salvation is God's gift — by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again.

Repentance

Repentance is turning from sin and turning to God with the whole heart.

Faith

Faith is trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

New Birth

The new birth is being born again of the Holy Spirit, becoming a child of God and a new creation.

Stage 2 — ROOT

Bible

Believers are rooted in God's Word — reading, studying, and living by the Scriptures.

Prayer

Believers develop a consistent prayer life, communicating with God daily.

Christian Identity

Believers discover their identity in Christ — forgiven, loved, accepted, and called.

Holy Spirit

Believers are filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, who empowers and transforms them.

Fellowship

Believers grow in community — sharing life, worship, and service with other Christians.

Worship

Believers worship God in spirit and truth, both personally and corporately.

Stage 3 — GROW

Spiritual Disciplines

Believers practice spiritual disciplines — prayer, fasting, Bible study, worship, and giving.

Character

Believers develop Christlike character — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Holiness

Believers pursue holiness — living set apart for God in thought, word, and deed.

Forgiveness

Believers learn to forgive others as Christ has forgiven them.

Relationships

Believers build healthy, godly relationships with family, friends, and the community.

Stewardship

Believers steward their time, talents, and resources for God's glory.

Faith

Believers grow in faith — trusting God in all circumstances and stepping out in obedience.

Stage 4 — SERVE

Spiritual Gifts

Believers discover and use their spiritual gifts to serve the body of Christ.

Service

Believers serve others with love, humility, and excellence.

Evangelism

Believers share the Gospel with others, inviting them to follow Jesus.

Leadership

Believers develop leadership skills, learning to guide and shepherd others.

Ministry Responsibility

Believers take on ministry responsibilities, contributing to the mission of the Church.

Stage 5 — SEND

Making Disciples

Believers make disciples — helping others follow Jesus and grow in faith.

Evangelism

Believers actively proclaim the Gospel in their communities and beyond.

Missions

Believers participate in missions — taking the Gospel to other communities and nations.

Leadership Multiplication

Believers multiply leadership — training and sending new leaders for ministry.

Christian Influence

Progress Tracking

This tracking integrates with existing Academy course progress and does not replace it.
