Welcome to Rooted Faith Ministry! We are glad you are here. This handbook will help you begin your journey with us.
2. Who We Are
Rooted Faith Ministry (RFM) is a Christian ministry devoted to prayer, the teaching of God's Word, discipleship, evangelism, and Christian fellowship.
3. Our Vision
To see lives transformed by Christ, believers established in God's Word, and disciples raised and sent to impact their communities and the world.
4. Our Mission
To help people become deeply rooted in Christ, established in the faith, equipped through God's Word, strengthened through prayer, and sent into the world as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
5. Our Motto
"Rooted in Christ. Established in the Faith. Sent to the World."
6. What We Believe
We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour; in the Bible as God's Word; and in salvation by grace through faith. (See the full RFM Statement of Faith.)
7. What RFM Is
RFM is a Christian ministry — a community of believers growing together in prayer, God's Word, and discipleship, and sharing the love of Christ with the world.
8. What RFM Is Not
RFM is not a business, a social club, or a platform for personal gain. It is a ministry devoted to Christ and His purposes.
9. Following Jesus
The Christian life is about following Jesus — knowing Him, becoming like Him, and living for Him every day.
10. Prayer
Prayer is your communication with God. We encourage you to pray daily — worshiping, thanking, confessing, and bringing your needs to God.
11. Bible Reading
God speaks through His Word. Read the Bible daily to know God, grow in faith, and live according to His will.
12. Discipleship
Discipleship is the journey of growing as a follower of Jesus. RFM provides Foundation Class, Academy courses, and discipleship resources to help you grow.
13. Community Life
We grow together. Participate in fellowship, prayer meetings, and community life to build relationships and grow in faith.
14. Fasting
Fasting is a spiritual discipline that combines prayer with abstaining from food. Fast wisely and safely, seeking God more deeply.
15. Evangelism
Share the love of Christ with others. Invite people to know Jesus and join the RFM community.
16. Serving
Use your gifts to serve. Every member has something to contribute to the body of Christ.
17. Testimonies
Your story matters. Share what God has done in your life to encourage others and glorify God.
18. Prayer Requests
You can submit prayer requests at any time. Our prayer team stands with you in faith and confidentiality.
19. Digital Community Rules
RFM's digital communities are governed by our Digital Community Guidelines. Participate with respect, love, and integrity.
20. Giving and Stewardship
Giving is voluntary. Support the ministry as God leads you — with joy, not under compulsion. (See the RFM Financial Policy.)
21. Leadership
RFM is led by Ken Sirika, Founder and Ministry Leader, together with ministry leaders and volunteers who serve with integrity and accountability.
22. Member Rights
As a member, you have the right to receive pastoral care, prayer support, biblical teaching, access to ministry resources, and to raise concerns with leadership.
23. Member Responsibilities
As a member, you are expected to live a Christ-honoring life, pray for the ministry, participate in community life, and support RFM through service and giving.
24. Safeguarding
RFM is committed to protecting children and vulnerable persons. We maintain a Child Protection Policy and expect all members to uphold safeguarding standards.
